Smoke between Sorties by Terriekitten Smoke between Sorties by Terriekitten
Commission for Roland [link]

His character, Roland, as a WW2 fighter plane pilot smoking it up between two sorties at the barracks.

I like how the colours came out here, makes for a good heavy warfeeling ( plus england looks like that anyhow ;p Well, actually a bit more sleet than sepia usually. )

That would be the nearest dive (bar) around the air base.

You really seemed to capture the feel of old WW2 coloured photos - the ones that were taken in black and white and then 'coloured'.

Wow, this came out alot better then I pictured when you said it was of a WW2 fighter pilot. Very moody, and I love how you can see off into the distance. The Background really makes the picture I think, Cause if it were just him havin a smoke it'd be kinda dull. How much did this cost? Cause it seems like all the artists I know want like $40 for a pic this complete.

I love this pic (duh) and it was definitely worth the money. Plus watching you draw it out on opencanvas was really fascinating. And probably worked out for the better, since it let me slide in little details while you worked.

I like the way you did the colors most though. The shean on his hair and the shading really did a good job bringing out his floofiness. You really put a lot of depth into this pic. which is...ya know...good.

All in all I have nothing bad to say about this pic. Hell I should comission another :D

And you should too, whomever you are reading this!!!
